Heard Mr. Sudin Usgaonkar, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr. S. S. Kantak, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Respondents.

2. The Petition seeks direction to the learned Civil Judge, Junior Division at Panaji to dispose of Rent Application filed by the Petitioner expeditiously.

3. Upon hearing the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the parties, we find that the application under Section 30 of the Rent Control Act was filed only in March, 2017. We do not have the material before us of the pendency of similarly placed matters

WP/398/2017 before the learned Judge.

4. In such circumstances, issuing any direction as prayed for would not be justified. The learned Judge is in the best position to prepare the cause list taking note of the matters pending and urgency thereof.

5. Hence, the petition is disposed of, accordingly.
