The grievance of the Petitioner is that the application under Section 66(5)of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, is not been disposed of by the Deputy Director.

The learned Advocate General states that the proceedings shall be disposed of within six months from today.

Accepting the said statement, nothing survives in the above Petition which stands disposed of accordingly. 6.

It is clarified that we have not examined the merits of the rival contentions which are left open.
