The learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions from the Officer present in Court, states that regularisation applications which are pending shall be disposed off within three months from today.

2. In view of the said statement, Shri Nigel Da Costa Frias, the learned Counsel for the petitioners upon instructions seeks leave to withdraw the above Writ Petition. But however, submits that the petitioners should be protected from the intended demolition of the subject structure. The petitioners, if so advised, are at liberty to make a representation to the concerned Authority with that regard in accordance with law. The petition stands

WP/417/2017 dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as stated. All contentions of the parties are left open as we have not examined the merits of the claim of the petitioners. Parties to act on the authenticated copy of the order.
