Heard Mr. Da Costa Frias, the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Lawande, the learned counsel for respondents no.1 and 2 and Mr.Prabhudessai, the learned Addl. Government Advocate for respondent no.3.

2. The petition challenges the order dated 17/4/2015, by which the Administrative Tribunal had refused to grant stay to the order of termination of the petitioner, who was working as a school teacher with the respondent no.1 school. Mr. Da Costa, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submits that it was a temporary appointment for a fixed period, which has expired. Thus the prayer as regards grant of interim relief has become infructuous and would not survive. He, therefore, submits that appropriate orders may be passed

WP/331/2015 regarding expediting the appeal before the Administrative Tribunal, as the issue of unpaid salary still subsists.

3. In view of this, the petition is disposed of as infructuous. The Administrative Tribunal shall decide the appeal as expeditiously as possible.
