Shri Lobo, the learned Counsel for the respondent, on instructions, states that the respondent shall deposit the arrears of maintenance upto June, 2017, within a period of eight weeks from today. He further states that the respondent shall continue to pay the monthly maintenance of Rs.6,000/- per month on or before 15th day of each calendar month. The statement is accepted. In view of this statement, the learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the petition, with a request to expedite the proceedings before the learned Magistrate.

2. In such circumstances, the petition is disposed of as withdrawn. The learned Magistrate shall decide the main application as expeditiously as possible and within a period of

WPCR/78/2017 six months from the receipt of this order. Parties to co-operate for early disposal of the petition.
