Heard Mr. T. George John, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. P. Faldessai, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

2. It is pointed out by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the application filed by the petitioner dated 5th April, 2017 is still pending before the concerned Authority and as such, there is no substance in the petition. Hence, granting of any relief at this stage, would not at all be justified.

3. The petition stands accordingly rejected. The concerned Authority shall examine the pending application on its own merits, in accordance with law.
