This is an application for condonation of delay in filing the Criminal Revision Application challenging an order of the Childrens' Court Panaji granting B summary as prayed for by the Calangute Police station. There is delay of 240 days in filing the Criminal Revision Application. Learned Counsel for the applicant relied upon the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Suo Motu Writ Petition (C) No. 3 of 2020.

2. Learned Public Prosecutor opposes the application and submitted that there is no sufficient cause made out in the 13th June, 2023

CRMA 42 of 2023 application to condone the delay. He further submitted there is a delay of 240 days which is not explained.

3. For the reasons mentioned in the application and in view of the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the application deserves to be allowed. Hence, the application is allowed. Delay in filing the Criminal Revision Application is condoned. Application stands disposed of.

4. Place the Criminal Revision Application on 26.6.2023 for admission.
