The present petition arises from a proceeding under the Goa Agricultural Tenancy Act; the Administrative Tribunal has dismissed the petitioner's application for declaration of his right as a tenant of the suit property which belongs to the respondent Communidade. It is stated that a land acquisition proceeding No. LAC/17/2003 is pending before the District Court, which is a reference made under Section 30 of the Land Acquisition Act for apportionment of the compensation due.

2. Since the outcome of the petition will have a direct bearing on the 2nd December, 2024

MCA 395 of 2024 decision of the District Court in the apportionment reference, it will be appropriate to list this matter for final hearing on the board commenting on 20th January 2025.
