Mr. Sardessai, the learned counsel for the respondents on instruction states that the file concerning the decision to be taken by the disciplinary authority in compliance with the order dated 13.10.2016 passed by this Court in writ petition No. 33/2016 has been already processed and would be placed before the Governor, within one week from today. An appropriate decision would be communicated to the petitioner. Statement is accepted.

2. In our view, since the order was passed as far back on

MCA/399/2019 13.10.2016, remanding the matter to the disciplinary authority to take decision, in the light of the said order passed, expeditiously, it would be appropriate to direct that the decision be rendered within four weeks from today. It is ordered accordingly. A copy of the order shall be conveyed to the learned Counsel for the petitioner simultaneously.

3. The authorities to act on the authenticated copy of this order.

4. Misc. Civil Application no. 399/2019 is disposed of on the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.
