Heard Mr. Godinho, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicants and Ms. P. Kamat, Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents.

2. The Applicants are only legal heirs of the original Respondents namely Mr. Jose Afonso who are entitled to receive the compensation awarded by the Reference Court and confirmed by the High Court vide Judgment and Order dated 24.04.2014.

3. At the time of the admission of the Appeal, the Respondents have deposited the amount of compensation together with interest before this Court.

4. Ms. P. Kamat, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents, upon instructions of the Officer of the Respondents, namely Mr. P. T. Pednekar, Assistant Engineer, Works Div. XXV, PWD, Fatorda, who is present in Court, states that the Respondents have no objection to pay the amount of compensation deposited before this Court.

5. Hence, in view of the statement made by the learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents, the Registry is directed to pay the amount of compensation together with interest which the Respondents have deposited in this Court.

6. Application stands disposed of.
