The grievance is made in this petition as regards the failure of the respondent-Mamlatdar to take a decision on the application tendered by the petitioner for recording the mutation entry in respect of the disputed property. It is informed that as a result of the instructions issued to keep the proceedings in abeyance, those proceedings have not yet been disposed of by the Mamlatdar. The petitioner contends that the proceedings were initiated before the Mamlatdar in January 2018, however, those proceedings have not yet been disposed of.

2. The learned Advocate General appearing for the State informs on instructions that the proceedings would be disposed of by the Mamlatdar within a period of 10 weeks from today. The statement made is accepted. The rival contentions raised by the parties in the instant case are specifically kept open for consideration by the deciding Authority.
