Heard Mr. Walawaikar, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr. Talaulikar, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the Respondent nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5.

2. The relief sought in the above Petition is the delay to dispose of an inquiry which is in progress before the Respondent no. 1 with regard to a complaint lodged by the Petitioner dated 16.08.2010 in case no. DCP/LRC-ILL-CONV/8-45/2010.

3. Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner has also pointed out that in such proceedings, a stop work Order is operating against the private Respondents.

4. We do not appreciate the inordinate delay in disposing of such proceedings. As such, we dispose of the proceedings directing the Respondent no.1 to dispose of the said proceedings as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, on or before 31.10.2017.
