This petition, filed as PIL, seeks a mandamus against Respondent Nos.1 to 5 and 7 to take action against Respondent No.8, who is said to be running a hospital and pharmacy without a proper licence issued by the Authorities. This Court, by its order dated 02.05.2019, noted the statement of learned Advocate General that appropriate action would be taken against the respective Respondents ( Respondent Nos.8, 9 and 10 ) for carrying on business without a licence.

Learned Addl. Government Advocate produces in Court today copies of notices already issued by the Director of Health Services to Respondent No.8 to show cause why action mandated under Section 15 of the Goa Medical Practitioners Act, 2004 should not be initiated against him.Respondent No.8 has been granted three weeks' time to show cause. Since the RespondentsState has already initiated action against the concerned on the basis of the grievance voiced by the Petitioner in the present petition, the PIL petition can be appropriately disposed of by directing the Respondents to follow up their action and take it to its logical conclusion. It is ordered accordingly. At the request of Respondent No.8, three weeks' time granted to the Respondents to show cause is extended by three more weeks from today. The PIL petition is disposed of accordingly.
