The petitioner is challenging the order passed by the Goa Municipalities Appellate Tribunal dismissing the appeal filed by the petitioner thereby confirming the order passed by the Municipal Council for demolition. It is submitted by the learned counsel for respondent no.1 that the petitioner had also approached the Planning and Development Authority for regularization and the application for regularization filed by the petitioner is rejected on 26/8/2015. Thus in all probability, the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the petition. In such circumstances, the petition is dismissed for want of prosecution with no order as to costs.
