The Petitioner has sought directions to the Respondent No.3 Corporation of the City of Panaji to take action against certain unauthorised constructions put up by the Respondent No.2. 2.

The learned Counsel appearing for the Corporation states that the Corporation, suo motu or on a complaint/application is empowered to proceed to take action against the unauthorised constructions as per law. The learned Counsel for the Corporation states that the complaint dated 23 March 2018 made to the Corporation by the Petitioner will be treated as such, and as per Rules and the procedure, necessary action would be taken.

In view of this statement, nothing further survives for adjudication. We make it clear that this order is not to be construed as reflection on the merits of the case of the Respondent No.2. 4.

The Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
