Heard Mr. Amey Kakodkar for the applicant-Insurance Company and Mr. Ryan Menezes for the respondents.

Mr. Kakodkar states that the restraint imposed by us in our order dated 12.04.2022 may be extended by way of a last chance only upto 20.07.2022. He states that if the Insurance Company does not obtain any interim orders before the said date, the original respondents (claimants) can withdraw the amount deposited in this Court.

Mr. Kakodkar has pointed out that Special Leave Petition against our order dated 12.04.2022 is already filed. He submits that the Hon'ble Supreme Court is presently on vacations which are due to conclude on 11.07.2022.

Mr. Ryan Menezes opposes this application by pointing out that the Insurance Company has not been very vigilant in pursuing the matter before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. He states that even this application was belatedly taken out.

Considering the circumstances explained by Mr. Kakodkar and his submission that no extension will be sought beyond 20.07.2022, we extend our restraint order upto 20.07.2022 by way of last chance. 6.

This application is disposed of. There shall be no order for costs. R.N. LADDHA, J.
