The petitioner, by this petition, has sought the following substantive relief :

a. For a writ of mandamus or any other order writ or direction in the nature of a mandamus directing the respondent authorities to perform their duties by holding inspection of the said property (as was indicated in the proceedings sheet dated 25.11.2019 before the Joint Secretary (Revenue), Chairman of the Committee, Secretariat, Alto Povorim, Bardez, Goa at Annexure - I) and verifying at loco as to whether the said property 25th November 2021

905-WP-320-2021.DOC meets the criteria for classification for identifying the same as a private forest and to pass appropriate orders in the matter.

Mr. D. Pangam, learned Advocate General appearing for the State submits that the respondents - Authorities would be holding inspection of the petitioner's property before 31.12.2021. Statement is accepted.

In view of the statement made by the learned Advocate General nothing survives for consideration in the aforesaid petition.

Petition is accordingly disposed of.
