Heard Mr. Karpe learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Ms. Kenny learned counsel appearing for the Respondents.

The petition could be disposed of in view of the statement made by Ms. Kenny on instructions that the

Respondents are ready and willing to comply with the order passed on 25.01.2021 by learned Mamlatdar which reads as under:-

ORDER

As the Applicant who is a widow expired and all her sons was already made parties.

However, as she has left behind daughters too, the applicant is directed to make the daughters too as parties, as the applicant have not produced any documents to show that the daughters have given up the rights in view of tenancy rights being heritable under the Goa Tenancy Act. Applicant to carry out necessary amendment within 14 days for this order.

Since the Respondents are now ready and willing to comply with the order quoted above by making the daughters as parties to the proceedings, nothing survives in the present proceedings.

Ms. Kenny submits that she will comply with the order dated 25.01.2021 within a period of two weeks. 5.

The concerned Mamlatdar is accordingly, directed to see that the order is complied with within a period of two weeks.

Since the tenancy proceedings are pending from the year 2011, learned Mamlatdar is requested to expedite the proceedings and decide it as early as possible and preferably within a period of one year.

In view of the assurance and the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of.
