Mr Lawande tenders a set of charts of four pages. These relate to Respondent Nos 5 and 6 and show the readings for various parameters taken between 9th/10th December 2016 and 1st September 2017.

In respect of the biological oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand and suspended solids, we note that in February and March 2017, there were marked rises in the readings of the final treated effluent treatment plant water samples for both Respondents. The 9th October 2017

23-WP-519-17.DOC two units have a common effluent treatment plant. It appears that after the installation of additional filters and systems, these issues are addressed. For the subsequent months, the tabulation shows complete compliance with the statutorily mandated norms and the readings are well within the permissible limits. The chart tendered is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification with today's date. 3.

In view of the prayers in the Petition, and specifically prayers (a), (b) and (c), we do not believe anything further survives. We will dispose off the Petition having regard to what is tendered today. It hardly needs to be stated that the GSPCB will periodically monitor both units and ensure compliance. If the Petitioner is able to demonstrate non-compliance or violation of the norms, the Petitioner will be at liberty to apply.

The Petition is disposed off in these terms with no orders as to costs.
