2. Mr. Nitin Sardessai, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the applicant points out that the petition has been filed essentially on the premise that the subject-acquisition has lapsed. It is further pointed out that despite of that, the respondents are changing the status quo of the subject-property by cutting trees. Mr. D. Lawande, learned Govt. Advocate, however, upon instructions, submits that the status quo is not being changed at present.

3. In view of the said statement, which is accepted, there is no need of any further ad interim relief. Application stands disposed of. Liberty to the applicant to apply.
