The learned counsel for respondent Nos.3 and 4 has placed before us an order dated 14.08.2025 passed by the Municipal Appellate Tribunal of Goa at Panaji Goa, in Municipal Appeal No.40/2025 instituted by respondent Nos.3 and 4, raising a challenge to the demolition order dated 09.01.2025.

The order placed before us reflect that the Tribunal has stayed the operation of the impugned demolition till the next date of hearing, while it has issued notice of hearing to the respondents. 18th August, 2025

WP 249 of 2025 It is worth to note that the present petitioner Mr Nooruddin Shaikh is impleaded as respondent No.2 in the said proceedings and definitely shall be afforded an opportunity of hearing to both parties. In the wake of the aforesaid development, since the proceedings are pending in the form of an appeal before the Municipal Appellate Tribunal, we dispose of the present writ petition with liberty to both the parties to take such appropriate steps as are available in law in furtherance of the decision of the Tribunal.
