Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Prayer clause (a) of this petition reads as follows: 'a) That by a Writ of Mandamus or a Writ, Order and/or direction in the nature of Mandamus and/or any other appropriate Writ, Order or direction, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to command and direct the Respondent No.5 to decide and adjudicate the case bearing No.16-2-2003/ILL-CNV.SAT pending in the Court of Deputy Collector and Sub-Divisional Officer, Bicholim Sub-Division, Bicholim Goa expeditiously and in any event within a period of one month or such other period as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to direct.' 2.

Ms Maria Correia learned Additional Government Advocate states that the Dy. Collector will dispose of the proceedings referred to in prayer clause (a) within three months from today in accordance with law and after complying with principles of natural justice and fair play. 12th March 2025
