By our order dated 20/2/2023, we had directed the Respondents to take a decision on the invocation of the bonds furnished by the original Petitioners within three months. Te Applicants-original Respondents now seek extension of further three months.

Te learned Advocate General states that the initial period of three months expired on 20/5/2023. Terefore, if the extension of one month is now granted, a decision will positively be taken in the matter.

Te reasons stated in the Applications is that Dr. Mahesh Kamble, Joint Director, Academics, who was well versed with the

matter was unavailable and finally relieved from his duties on 8/3/2023. Te Applicants states that the other officials who could have looked into the matter were also involved in PG Examinations. 4.

Considering the explanation offered, extension of one month from today is granted. However, we clarify if within one month no decision is taken then, the original Petitioners would be at liberty to withdraw the amounts deposited by them in this Court, with accrued interest, if any.
