Heard learned counsel for the applicants.

2. For the reasons mentioned in the application, the applicants are permitted to withdraw in equal shares the amount of compensation deposited by the respondents along with the accrued interest thereon in terms of the award passed by this Court. The Registrar to calculate the entitlement of the compensation to which the claimants are entitled to in the light of the award that is passed by this Court.

3. It is the contention of learned Additional Government Advocate, Ms. Kamat, that an excess amount has been deposited in this Court as 26th July, 2023

MCA 249 of 2023 the amount to be deposited was calculated by the Department on the basis of the award as was passed by the Reference Court. The registry to do the needful. The applicants are permitted to withdraw the amount of compensation as per their entitlement along with the accrued interest thereon in terms of the award passed by this Court. The excess amount, if any, be paid to the respondents after the payment is made to the claimants in terms of the award passed by this Court.

4. The application is disposed of.
