Heard Mr Malik for the Petitioners, learned Advocate General who appears along with Mr S.P. Munj, Additional Government Advocate in Writ Petition No.149/2023, with Mr Geetesh Shetye, Additional Government Advocate in Writ Petition No.1067/2022 (F) and with Mr Tukaram Gawas, Additional Government Advocate in Writ Petition No.1788/2022 (F) for the Respondents.

The issues raised in these petitions are covered, inter alia, by our order in Writ Petition No.605/2022 decided on 14.03.2023. 3.

Accordingly, by adopting the reasoning in the said order, we allow these petitions and direct that the Petitioners should be granted the benefit in terms of the law laid down whilst disposing Writ Petition No.668/2014. The learned Advocate General states that such benefits could be granted to the Petitioners as expeditiously as possible and in any case within four months from today.

The petitions are disposed of without any order for costs. 5.
