The application is filed by the legal representative of Smt. Indirabai Venkatesh Bhat Dhavlikar seeking withdrawal of the compensation in terms of the judgment and award dated 30.04.2003 passed by the Additional District Judge at Panaji, which is deposited in this Court, while the First Appeal filed by the State challenging the award and it is lying in this Court. A categorical statement made in the application that the applicant is entitled to receive 1/5th share in the said amount deposited in this Court with accrued interest thereon. The learned Additional Government Advocate representing the respondent Nos.1 and 2, on instructions, has expressed his no 17th October, 2025

MCA 151 of 2025 objection in permitting the withdrawal of this amount as according to him, there is no dispute that the present applicant is the legal representative of one of the shareholders and entitled to 1/5th share in the compensation.

In the wake of the aforesaid, the applicant is permitted to withdraw the amount to the extent of 1/5th share along with accrued interest, and the Registry shall compute the said amount and permit the said withdrawal.
