1. The application seeks relief for bringing the legal representatives of appellant No.2 on record since he had passed away on 08.05.2020 at Mumbai.

The application is accompanied by a death certificate.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the applicants and perused the application, which proceed to state that on the appellant No.2 having expired, he is survived by his legal representatives, though appellant No.1, his wife is already on record.

The application proceed to state that despite the demise of appellant No.2 during the COVID, in the wake of the restrictions imposed during Pandemic the period of limitation for filing proceedings was extended by the Supreme Court in the Suo Motu writ petition and therefore, the application was filed on 10.12.2020 for bringing the legal representatives of appellant No.2 on record.

4. Considering the explanation and the prayer made therein, since I find that the explanation is satisfactory and since it is necessary for bringing the legal representatives of appellant No.2 on record, the application is made absolute in terms of the prayer clause (a). Necessary amendment to be carried out within a period of four weeks from today.

The Misc. Civil Application No.100 of 2023 is disposed of. BHARATI DANGRE, J.
