The grievance raised in the Petition of superseding the Petitioner in the seniority list by the Respondents can be redressed in the wake of the statement made by the learned Advocate General that the Petitioner's case deserves consideration as merely because some complaint was lodged against him, it could not have been a ground to supersede him.

The learned Advocate General make a categorical statement that a promotion order on adhoc basis to the post of Executive Engineer 29th July, 2025

WP 287 of 2025 (Civil) shall be issued to the Petitioner forthwith giving effect from today i.e. 29.07.2025.

2. By recording the aforesaid statement and since Mr. Padgaonkar has expressed his satisfaction, the Petition stands disposed of. NIVEDITA P. MEHTA, J.
