The Applicant is now contending that in view of the recent amendment, the grounds raised in the petition are fully supported and therefore the matter could be disposed of by placing it for final arguments. The second application is filed with the composite prayer of early hearing as well as to dispense with furnishing further Bank Guarantee.

The amendment to the particular provision shows that such amendments were effected somewhere in the year 2021. 4.
Ms. Linhares appearing for the Respondents has no objection for the matter to be heard finally. However, she submits that there are other issues which require consideration.

Considering the submissions and the fact that the provision has been amended thereby deleting the words "or pre-packed or imported", from Rule 6 (1) (d) of Rules 2011.

Accordingly, the matter could be placed for final disposal so as to consider the effect of such amendment to the matter in hand. 7.
Fix the Writ Petition No.533 of 2018 for final hearing in the week commencing from 05/08/2024.
