The petition seeks quashing of the order of suspension on various grounds, including the ground that there was no valid reason for imposing such suspension on the employee. After the enquiry was held, an order dated 21.01.2025 came to be passed by the Disciplinary Authority exonerating the employee of all charges except charges under Article -II for which a minor penalty of withholding annual 22nd January, 2025

WP 399 of 2023 increment of pay for a period of two years and also the penalty of censure and warned to be careful in future and not to repeat such instances.

2. Consequently, the relief sought in the petition will be rendered infructuous. On instructions, Mr Rao, learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the Petition. On that count, the Petition stands disposed of as withdrawn.

3. Needless to say, all remedies are open for the Petitioner to file an appeal as provided under the CCS (CCA) Rules.

4. All pending Civil Applications stand disposed of in view of nothing surviving in the Petition.
