The Writ Petition filed by Respondent Nos.6 and 7 to this Misc. Civil Application sought quashing of the Respondent State's decision for extension of distributorship of Goa State Lotteries in favour of the Applicant herein, without floating a fresh tender. The petition was disposed of by an order passed by this Court on 11.04.2019. The order inter alia noted the statement of learned Advocate General that the process of invitation of tenders and

It was agreed between the Applicants herein and the Respondent State that the ongoing contract in favour of the former, would be continued till the tender process was finalized by the State Government, and that during this extended period, the Applicants would pay to the State a sum of `45.00 crores per annum proportionately, and would comply with other terms and conditions of the contract during this period.

2. It is not disputed that the Applicants herein were paying the State `45.00 crores per annum by monthly installments of `3.75 crores. It is also not in dispute that this amount was required to be paid, and is accordingly paid by 15 th of every month. It is clarified that the Applicants shall continue to pay the amount accordingly, latest by th of every succeeding month, during the extended period of the contract.
