Heard Mr. Rohit Pednekar, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Advocate General appears alongwith Mr. Suhas Parab, Additional Government for respondent no.1 and Mr. Jeevan Bandekar, learned counsel appears for respondent no.2. 2.

The petitioner seeks following relief:

'Issue Writ of Mandamus or in the nature of Mandamus or any other Writ, Order and Direction to the Respondent no.2 to decide the Applications dated 08/01/2021 filed by the Petitioner before the Respondent no.2 authority i.e. the 5th September 2022

26-WP-310-2022.DOC Registrar of Birth and Death, Village Panchayat of SiolimMarna in a time bound manner.' 3.

Mr. Bandekar, learned counsel for respondent no.2, on instructions, states that the petitioners applications dated 08.01.2021 will be disposed of by respondent no.2 as expeditiously as possible and not later than 2 weeks from today. He states that the decision on both these applications will be communicated within this period of 2 weeks to the petitioner.
