After hearing the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor for some time, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners, on instructions, submits that the petitioners do not intend to press the Criminal Writ Petition subject to the application for bail pending before the Magistrate being expedited.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor has no objection for the same.

3. At present, the petitioners are remanded to police custody till 24/06/2016. The application for bail filed by the petitioners is pending before the learned Magistrate. The Magistrate has allowed

WPCR/81/2016 the intervention by the original complainant. Be that as it may, considering the fact that the matter involves the question of personal liberty of the petitioners, the Magistrate shall decide the bail application as expeditiously as possible. Needless to mention that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the rival contentions of the parties. Petition is disposed off as withdrawn. C. V. BHADANG, J.
