Heard Mr Chodankar, learned Central Government Standing Counsel for the applicants. The respondent though served neither present nor represented.

2. Mr Chodankar states that this application seeking condonation of delay has been filed as a matter of abundant caution. He points out that the impugned order was made on 06.02.2020. He further points out that the Hon'ble Supreme Court by order dated 10.01.2022 in Misc. Application No.21/2022 in Suo Motu Writ Petition (C) No.3/2020 has extended the period of limitation from 15.03.2020 to 28.02.2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

3. This appeal along with the application for condonation of delay was instituted on 27.04.2022.

4. Considering the above circumstances, it does appear that there was no delay in institution of this appeal. In any case, as a matter of abundant caution, delay if any is hereby condoned. Misc. Civil Application No.195/2022 is disposed of.
