Heard Shri G. Vijaychandran, the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners and Shri Mahesh Amonkar, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondents.

2. The above contempt petition is filed by the Petitioner being aggrieved by the non-compliance of the Order of this Court and claiming that no benefits were given to the Petitioner during the intervening period. The next contention is that the Respondents are not giving the benefits to the Petitioner, which he is entitled to in terms of the Judgment dated 10.12.2013 passed by this Court.

3. As far as the first contention of the Petitioner is concerned, taking

CP/24/2016 note of the view taken by us directing the reinstatement of the Petitioner on the terms mentioned therein, the question of claiming any retirement benefits by the Petitioner cannot arise.

4. As far as the next contention is concerned, Mr. Mahesh Amonkar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondents has submitted that the Respondents shall proceed to examine the benefits applicable in accordance with the relevant rules.

5. In view of the said statement of the learned Counsel nothing survives in the above Contempt Petition which stands disposed of, accordingly.
