Heard Shri P. D'Souza,learned Advocate for the applicant and Shri S.R. Rivankar, learned Public Prosecutor for the respondents, who has also filed his reply opposing the application for bail.

2. In the course of the hearing it was fairly suggested by the learned Advocate for the applicant that a time bound direction could be issued to the learned Trial Court to expedite the hearing of the case as five witnesses have been examined till date and the sixth witness is under trial.

3. The learned Public Prosecutor for the respondents on instructions of the I.O. submits that another 2 or 3 witnesses at the maximum would be examined on behalf of the State.

4. Considering the contention of Shri D'Souza, learned Advocate for the applicant and Shri S.R. Rivankar, learned Public Prosecutor for the respondents, the application is disposed off with a direction to the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Panaji to expedite the trial of this case and to dispose off the same within three months and latest by 31/10/2018.
