This Writ Petition seeks a mandamus against respondents No.1 and 3 to 5 for initiating action against a purported illegal construction undertaken by respondents No.6,7 and 8 in the property referred to in prayer clause (a) of the petition. Respondent No.2-Panchayat has already issued an order cum notice under Sub-section (4) of Section 66 of The Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 calling upon respondents No.6,7 and 8 to demolish the illegal construction referred to above. Since want of action on the part of the Panchayat and others was the subject matter of grievance of the petitioner and that grievance has now been redressed by means of the order cum notice referred to above, the

WP/480/2019 petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such. No order as to costs.
