Heard Ms. Mordekar, learned Counsel for the applicants.

2. By this application, the applicants have prayed for stay of the execution of the impugned judgment and award dated 21.12.2013 passed by the learned District Judge, North Goa, Panaji in Land Acquisition Case No. 3/2007.

3. Ms. Mordekar, learned Additional Government Advocate submits that the applicants would deposit the entire awarded amount within a period of eight weeks from today.

4. In view of the above, the execution of the impugned award dated 21.12.2013 is stayed until the final disposal of the First Appeal No. 94/2014, subject to the applicants depositing the entire awarded amount in this Court within a period of eight weeks from today.

5. The said amount, if deposited, shall be invested in any Nationalised Bank initially for a period of one year and the same shall be renewed from time to time till the disposal of the appeal.

6. The application stands disposed of.
