Heard learned Counsel for the applicant and Mr. Nagesh Bondalkar, Branch Manager of the Janaseva Urban Co-operative Credit Society Ltd, for the respondents.

The applicant/accused, in Criminal Complaint no.02/OA/NIA/ 2018, instituted by the respondent under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, seeks to compound the offence under section 147 of the said Act.

Respondent/Bank has forwarded the consent terms dated

6-CRMA-45-2022..DOC 18.7.2022, which state that the parties have settled their dispute and bank has received compensation amount awarded by the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class Sanguem, Goa, which includes the cheque amount.

Mr. Nagesh Bondalkar, Branch Manager, present in Court, admits the contents on the consent terms. Terms of the settlement are taken on record and marked "X-1" for identification. 5.

In that view of the matter, Criminal Misc. Application No. 45 of 2022 is allowed. Resultantly, offence in Criminal Case No. 02/OA/NIA/2018, stands compounded and applicant is acquitted. 6.

For the reasons aforesaid, the Criminal Revision Application is disposed of including all applications therein. SANDEEP K. SHINDE,J.
