2. This is an application for amendment of the petition to incorporate some subsequent events in view of the fresh notification issued by the respondents in respect of the subject registration fees.

3. The learned Additional Government Advocate opposes the said application and points out that he wishes to file a reply to dispute the correctness of the averments in the proposed amendment.

Considering that the amendment application is only to incorporate the subsequent events and the dispute sought to be raised is referable to the original lis between the parties, we find no reason to refuse leave to the petitioner to amend the petition. Needless to say all contentions of the respondents with regard to the merits of the proposed amendments are left open. Application is accordingly allowed. The petitioner is permitted to amend the petition as prayed for. Amendment to be carried out within one week. Respondents to file additional reply, if so, advised within two weeks thereafter. K. L.
