2. By this Civil Application, the Applicant, who is the Petitioner in Writ Petition No. 343 of 2022, seeks the following reliefs : (a) Dispose the said Writ Petition No. 343/2022 as withdrawn in the light of certificates of settlement.

(b) Direct the Registry of this Hon'ble Court to refund the amount deposited before this Hon'ble Court pursuant to Order dated 11.08.2021, along with interest accrued thereon.

3. The grant of relief in the above terms is not opposed. Even otherwise, we are satisfied that leave can be granted to withdraw the Petition now that the Petitioner has availed of the benefit under the settlement scheme. Besides, since the matter is settled and all dues stand cleared, the Petitioner can be permitted to withdraw the amount deposited by him in this Court in terms of our Order dated 11.08.2021 along with interest, if any, that shall have been accrued on this amount.

4. For the above reasons, this application is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b) referred to above.

5. As a result, this Civil Application and the accompanying Writ Petition No. 343 of 2022, stand disposed.

6. A copy of this Order should be placed in the Writ Petition No. 343 of 2022 VALMIKI SA MENEZES, J.
