2. The applicant has been convicted by the Additional Sessions Judge, Mapusa of the offences punishable under Section 307 of IPC and Section 3 read with Section 25 of the Arms Act and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for five years. He submits that the applicant was on bail during the trial and therefore, it is prayed for suspending the sentence pending the appeal. As such, the execution of sentence passed by the Sessions Court on 30.6.2017 is suspended, pending the appeal. The applicant shall be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond in sum of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like

CRMA/167/2017 amount. The applicant shall furnish bail in the Addl.Sessions Court.
