Heard Shri Ryan Menezes, learned counsel appearing for the applicant/petitioner.

2. The applicant is convicted and sentence for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act to undergo simple imprisonment for six months and to pay compensation of Rs.10,90,000/-.

3. It is brought to my notice that the petitioner has deposited an amount of Rs.50,000/- in the Sessions Court. Authenticated copy of receipt of deposit of Rs.50,000/- is filed on record which is marked "X" for identification.

4. Pending hearing and disposal of Criminal Revision Application, substantive sentence shall stand suspended, subject to deposit of Rs.2,50,000/-in this Court. Upon deposit of the said amount, the applicant shall be released on furnishing Personal

CRMA/175/2017 Bond of Rs.20,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court.
