This is an application for transfer of Matrimonial petition no.107/11/B from the file of the learned Senior Civil Judge at Mapusa to the Court of the learned Senior Civil Judge at Vasco-da-Gama. The Matrimonial petition is filed by the respondent for dissolution of marriage. Indisputably the applicant is having her permanent resident at Vasco where she is working as a Home Guard. According to the applicant she faces difficulty in traveling to Mapusa and to instruct her lawyer.

2. On hearing the learned counsel for the parties, I find that the application has to be allowed. It is now well settled that in disputes of the present nature it is the convenience of the wife which would take precedence. In that view of the matter, the

MCAM/606/2017 application is allowed. The Matrimonial petition no.107/11/B is hereby withdrawn from the file of the learned Senior Civil Judge at Mapsua and is transferred to the Court of the learned Senior Civil Judge at Vasco-da-Gama for disposal according to law.
