Petitioner's permission under Section 17-A of Town and Country Planning Act (TCP Act), for construction of retaining wall at Survey number concerned, is pending.

2. It contended on behalf of the respondents that the alleged cutting of hill was without permission. A statement is made that FIR is already lodged on 10/06/2015.

3. Considering the situation so referred above, we are inclined to dispose of the present petition by directing the concerned respondent to dispose of the application of the petitioner within eight weeks. Ordered accordingly. The petitioner to submit the

WP/861/2016 documents as required within two weeks. Having once filed an application, therefore, to avoid complication, in the meantime, we direct the respondents that no further coercive steps, based on the impugned order, shall be taken. The protection granted to continue for two weeks further, if the order is adverse to the petitioner. No costs.
