DATED :- 21st March, 2025 ORAL ORDER By the present writ petition, the petitioner who came to be appointed on the post of Assistant Director (SC/OBC Welfare) in the Directorate of Social Welfare on 12/04/2013 seeks confirmation of his appointment and lifting of the probation in terms of the Recruitment Rules.

2. The learned Advocate for Respondent No. 3 on instructions submits that on 12/01/2024, the Goa Public Service Commission has recommended the satisfactory completion of the petitioner's period of probation and consequent confirmation on the said post. Acting on the 21st March, 2025

WP 462 of 2023 same, the Director of Social Welfare on 28/02/2024 has accepted the said recommendation and held that the petitioner has successfully completed the period of probation

3. Both the orders are taken on record and marked 'A' for identification.

4. In view of the aforesaid, the purpose of filing the writ petition is served. Needless to state that all consequences following the confirmation of the petitioner would be available in accordance with the Recruitment Rules.
