2. It is submitted that during the trial, the applicant-appellant was on bail throughout. The appellant has been convicted for offences punishable under Section 8(2)of the Goa Children Act, 2003 read with Sections 376 and 354 of IPC and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a term of 10 years and to pay a fine of Rs.2,00,000/- in default to undergo simple imprisonment for two years.

3. The learned Public Prosecutor has no objection to suspend

CRMA/177/2017 the sentence of the applicant.

4. During the pendency of the appeal, the applicant-appellant is released on PR bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/-(Rs.Twenty thousand only) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court.
