During the course of the hearing of the above petition, Mr. Faldessai, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 1 and 2 upon instructions of the Director of the Panchayat has pointed out that the elections to the post of Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch in respect of the subject elections are scheduled to be held on 17.07.2017 upon complying with all the requisite formalities.
