This is an application for condonation of 72 days of delay in filing the present revision application. The main cause of delay, as cited in the application, is that on advice, the Public Prosecutor before the Trial Court sought review of the impugned order which was rejected after which the concerned filed moved according to administrative requirements for sanction from the Director of Prosecution and other Departments.

The application, though vehemently opposed by learned Advocate Mr. Amey Sawant for the Respondent, appears to have sufficient cause made out for condoning the delay. The movement of the file has been sufficiently explained in the application supported by an affidavit of the Investigating Officer who has followed the file. 4.

For reasons stated above, delay in filing the Criminal Revision Application is condoned. Application is allowed. 5.

Consequently, the Revision Application shall be registered and listed on 21.07.2025.
