Shri S.R. Rivankar, the learned Public Prosecutor tenders the copy of the final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. which has been filed in the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Pernem, Goa, on 12th June, 2014 stating that the investigation conducted by the police has not revealed any evidence against the petitioner. The report has been pending for consideration till date.

2. In our opinion, this petition filed for quashing of the FIR can be disposed off by giving directions to the learned Magistrate for passing orders on the final report submitted. The Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Pernem, Goa, is directed to dispose off the final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. dated 12th June, 2014 in FIR No.116/2014 within a period of three weeks from today.
